Jumpstart
The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program offers children aged 4-18 from financially disadvantaged families a chance to participate in sports and recreational activities.
Parents that would like to apply for this program can now register their child online at the following link: www.canadiantire.ca/jumpstart
A proof of the family income (family’s GST Tax Credit or Canada Child Tax Benefit statement) must accompany the application form. If the parent qualifies and the funding is available, the program could contribute up to $600 per year (in two 300$ installements) to cover costs related to registration and equipment for a child.
