Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce
The Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that looks after the interests of the Cap-Acadie business community and its members. This organization is non-partisan and completely independent of the town, as well as the provincial and federal governments. It therefore operates through projects, initiatives, and the contribution of members who wish to be part of the organization.
Founded in 1994, the Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce today boasts 200 members of all sizes and from a variety of business sectors. It has won numerous advocacy victories in defending the interests of businesses at local, provincial and national levels. Highlights include: the end of long-distance numbers in southeastern New Brunswick, the creation of today's Route 15, the construction of a public library in Cap-Pelé, the reopening of the Kouchibouguac River Bridge No. 1 (Robichaud Bridge), and the extension of business hours at UNI Financial Cooperation's Cap-Pelé branch.

The primary mission of the Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce is to ensure that companies can succeed in a business-friendly environment in Cap-Acadie. The Chamber of Commerce also has an economic development mandate from the Government of Canada to ensure the attractiveness and development of new businesses on the territory, as well as the expansion of existing businesses.
It offers a wide range of programming: networking sessions, luncheon meetings, events with distinguished guests such as The Leaders’ Table and the State of Cap-Acadie, an annual golf tournament and official ribbon-cutting ceremonies for new businesses. In addition, it offers a number of services directly supporting businesses: a comprehensive group insurance plan, export seal certification for exporters, and a grant-writing service.
