INTERGENERATIONAL CENTRE

Did you know?
The Cap-Acadie intergenerational complex, scheduled to open at the end of 2026, will represent a major project for the community. This new center, attached to the arena, will be a gathering place focused on health, wellness and physical activity. It will offer a multitude of spaces for physical, cultural and commercial activities, while generating significant economic benefits for the region. Among its facilities, we find six new changing rooms, a social lounge, a multi-use courtyard, as well as a canteen with kitchen and bar. Multipurpose spaces, including three meeting rooms that can be combined into one large room, administrative offices, and a group exercise room, will also be present. A 140 meter walking track and a games room will complete the offering, creating an environment conducive to relaxation and activity for all ages. The new seats in the arena will improve the spectator experience, making this complex a preferred location for residents and visitors. For now, the opening is planned for the end of 2026.
The Cap-Pelé arena, which will be connected to the center, is currently undergoing renovations.
