Position summary
The La Trappe aux Sports Restaurant Attendant contributes to the daily smooth operation of the food service area. This role involves food preparation and service, maintenance of the kitchen and equipment, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers.
Roles and Responsibilities
Food Preparation and Service
- Prepare food according to established recipes and procedures.
- Cook food and assemble dishes as required.
- Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
- Take orders and process transactions as needed.
- Ensure the quality, presentation, and freshness of all food served.
Cleaning and Sanitation
- Clean and disinfect work surfaces, equipment, and preparation areas.
- Keep the kitchen and service areas organized and sanitary.
- Adhere to current hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Stock and Inventory
- Receive and inspect deliveries of goods.
- Store products properly according to preservation standards.
- Assist in monitoring inventory and report replenishment needs.
Operational Support
- Support smooth operations during busy periods and events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive customer experience.
- Perform any other related tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the food service area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in kitchen or food service (preparation, cooking, customer service).
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food service management.
- Bilingual (French and English).
Working conditions
Seasonal Position - 30h-40h per week, including nights and weekends.
Competitive starting wage from $18/hour.
