Transportation
For the Cap-Pelé region, the municipality is responsible for maintaining the majority of public roads, streets, shoulders and sidewalks. In addition, this department is responsible for street name signs, lane marking, storm sewers and drainage ditches. For more information, please contact the Director of Municipal Operations.
For provincial roads in the regions of Grand-Barachois, Boudreau-Ouest, Cormier-Village, Saint-André-LeBlanc, Haute-Aboujagane, Shemogue, Portage, Petit-Cap or Trois-Ruisseaux, the provincial Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is responsible for the maintenance of public streets and roads on its territory. Infrastructure
The municipality oversees the proper operation of the sewer connection and evacuation system, the lift stations and the wastewater treatment plant.
At its regular meeting in January 2023, the municipal council adopted a user fee of $337 for sewer service for the year 2023 (Cap-Pelé sector).
