PUBLIC NOTICE
(Under section 111 of the Community Planning Act)
The council of the Regional Town of Cap-Acadie intends to amend By-law CA-18 – Zoning By-law of the Regional Town of Cap-Acadie in order to modify Schedule A – Town of Cap-Acadie Zoning Map of By-law CA-18, to rezone the properties located on Gautreau Street in Bas-Cap-Pelé and bearing PIDs 01100171, 70515697, 70058730, 00842880 and 70590450 from the P – Port zone to the ID – Integrated Development zone, in order to allow, in addition to the existing port use (seafood processing plant), the processing of organic waste related to the fishing industry.
By-law CA-18-M03 – By-law amending the Zoning By-law of the Regional Town of Cap-Acadie can be viewed by interested persons at the Cap-Acadie Municipal Building Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. to 4 p.m., as well as on Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., or at the office of Plan 360 (815A, Bombardier Road in Shediac, NB), between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during working days (please note that the office is closed from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.). Objections and/or comments to the draft By-laws, presented in writing, will be considered at a Public Hearing to be held in the Cap-Acadie council meeting room located at 2647 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, NB, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. A person who wishes to speak for or against written objections is entitled to be heard at this meeting.
