Cap-Acadie, October 9, 2026

The Regional Town of Cap-Acadie celebrated the official opening of La Trappe aux Sports yesterday, the restaurant located in its new Intergenerational Complex.

The restaurant, which has been welcoming customers for the past few weeks, was designed to offer residents and visitors of all ages a place to gather, grab a bite to eat and make the most of the Complex’s facilities. Operated by the municipality, La Trappe aux Sports offers a menu that combines healthier options with classic canteen favourites, ensuring there is something for everyone.

“We’re really proud to be able to offer a place like this to our residents. We wanted the Complex to be a place where people can spend time together and enjoy the activities offered here. La Trappe aux Sports adds something special to the overall experience at the Complex,” says Cap-Acadie Mayor Serge Leger.

The official opening was celebrated on Thursday, October 8, with menu specials, prizes to be won and music. The event provided an opportunity to celebrate this new service and invite the community to discover the new space.

With La Trappe aux Sports, the Town hopes to make the Intergenerational Complex an even more vibrant and welcoming gathering place where residents of all generations can come together on a daily basis.

The restaurant is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The menu is available on the Intergenerational Complex webpage.
