Be visible!
Did you know that a civic number is essential to your safety? A civic number allows the exact location of an address, making it easier for first responders to find you.
Tips for Keeping Your Civic Address Number Visible
To help first responders locate your property quickly, it is important that your civic address number remains clearly visible at all times.
- Install your address number in a high, visible location so it can be seen year-round, especially during the winter months.
- Make sure it is never covered by snow.
- Choose a colour that contrasts with the post or building where the number is mounted.
- Use reflective numbers to improve visibility at night or in low-light conditions.
You can now apply online directly from our website to obtain your civic numbers and pick them up at Town Hall.
