Poetic Conversations Project

The Projet Borgitte invites you to attend the screening of the final edit of Florentine Rey’s poetic conversations project. Florentine Rey is a poet and performance artist.

For the past month, she has been placing two chairs side by side, facing a natural or industrial landscape, indoors or outdoors, and inviting someone to sit beside her. She invites her guest to enter the landscape as if it were a kind of dream, and then to make connections rooted in reality.

By creating a shared imaginary world together, poetry becomes a language of coming together—a way of imagining new possible relationships with the world around us.

The screening of the poetic conversations will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, starting at 5 p.m., in the Projet Borgitte pavilion. We’ll have soup and popcorn to keep you nourished!

We would like to thank our partners, the Consulate General of France in Moncton and Halifax and the Institut français du Canada, for their support.
