Borgitte Blues – Cyanotype Experiments
Come experience the magic of cyanotype, an early photographic process that uses sunlight to create images in rich Prussian blue. In this workshop, participants will explore the fundamentals of this accessible technique by making their own prints using found objects, plant materials, drawings, or photographic negatives.
The workshop includes a brief introduction to the history of cyanotype, followed by guidance on preparing light-sensitive paper, composing images, and developing and rinsing finished prints. Each participant will leave with several original cyanotype creations.
No previous ence is requiredxperie. Registration is required, and space is limited. All materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring photographic negatives, found objects, paper, or natural-fibre fabrics such as cotton or linen to experiment with.
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and artists interested in exploring the medium.
