Freeing Yourself from the Weight of Stones – Sculpture and Weaving Workshop
Join Mélanie Paulin for a creative workshop where you’ll make textile rock sculptures using metal wire and recycled fabrics.
Participants will learn how to shape the metal wire to create a framework that will serve as the base for the sculpture. Twining and weaving techniques will be taught to transform the fabrics and cover the rock-like structures.
Through the choice of materials, colors, techniques, and textures, each participant will be able to express their own reflections on the themes of mental load and letting go.
