Workshop - Songwriting Games
Belle Grand Fille offers a songwriting text creation workshop.
Through various writing exercises, both individual and group-based, participants will be invited to explore the Oulipo approach (Workshop of Potential Literature), which uses constraints to unlock the imagination. Under this premise, the workshop’s exercises will guide participants in writing short texts through different rules (for example: imposed vocabulary or words, rhyme schemes or predetermined structures, prose or verse styles, and more).
Each exercise’s result will be shared with the group and receive feedback both from me and fellow participants. This respectful and supportive phase is essential for everyone to become aware of the impact of their writing.
The workshop adapts to all levels—whether you are new to songwriting or have previous experience. Constraints will be introduced gradually, following the group’s pace.
This is a wonderful opportunity to dive into your imagination in a welcoming and friendly environment!
