Creative Workshop – Paper Casting
Aleya Michaud is offering a workshop on the basics of making paper from shredded recycled paper.
The session will guide participants through the entire process, from preparing the pulp to forming and drying the sheets. Key techniques will be demonstrated, including blending the pulp, pouring, and pressing, to ensure everyone gains a solid understanding of the fundamentals.
Participants will be able to personalize their creations by experimenting with the addition of dried flowers, inks, and other materials to their paper.
Cut-out shapes can be added, and stencils may be used to create custom designs directly within the paper. This will give participants the opportunity to explore both texture and form in their creations.
