Cooking Lobster
For 10 to 15 lobsters
Fill a pot (2/3 full) with water. Boil. Add lobster. When it starts to boil again, add salt (1/2 cup in a pot that can hold 10 to 15 lobster). Cook for 15-20 minutes. Salt – 1 cup for a pot that can hold 15-20 lobsters; 1/3 cup for a pot containing 5 to 7 lobsters (or to taste).
*N.B. Lobster can be cooked with salt water from the sea. No other salt need to be added. -
Clam Chowder
- 4 tbsps. butter
- 1 chopped onion
- 3½ cup milk
- 2 cans clams (with juice)
- 3 cups cubed potatoes
- 1½ tsp. salt
- Pinch of pepper
Melt butter in a pot. Add onion and cook until tender. Add milk. Mix in other ingredients. Heat. Add ½ cup water and cook for 20-25 minutes.
