Official opening of the Rhéal Cormier Trail
The Regional Town of Cap-Acadie celebrated the official opening of a new trail behind the Cap-Pelé arena on Tuesday, June 10, at 6:30 p.m.
Connecting the arena to Bas-Cap-Pelé Road, this 1.04 km trail enhances the growing network of trails in Cap-Acadie and throughout southeastern New Brunswick. It offers a new outdoor space accessible to the entire community. The trail also includes a newly built bridge—both sturdy and elegant—that crosses over Friel Brook, as well as a monument honouring Rhéal Cormier, a local athlete who made his mark in the world of baseball.
Press Release
The Regional Town of Cap-Acadie extends its heartfelt thanks to all the donors and partners who helped bring this project to life for the benefit of the entire community.
